  Overall a good meal. Throughout the week they are not usually too busy for late lunch early dinner. The times for the food to get to the table from ordering can be really quick or a little too long. The wait staff is on top of things kinda wonder what is happening back in the kitchen. When the food comes out it is good and well cooked.

  Wife & I must be suckers for punishment. Yesterday was our 3rd trip to Applebee's & our 3rd bad experience. It was not busy Thursday afternoon. A few gas drillers at the bar & maybe 5 booths had people in them.
  Server was horrible, food was late, had to wait excessively long for drink refills. My Chicken & Shrimp was spicy hot that set my mouth on fire. Wife's Mac & Cheese was also spicey hot.
  Then we were over charged on our bill. They waitress had no intention of coming back to our table. I had to pry her away from whatever she was doing at the bar to explain the overcharge to me. Of course, there was no explaination.
  Bottom line, next time we need to stop for lunch while at the Highlands, we will go to Permanti Bros or Quaker Stake.
